Established in 1870, Ryoutei Ryokan Yasui was is located little over an hour from Kyoto Station. It houses 3 different public baths including an outdoor bath. This ryokan boasts a Japanese garden, which can be seen fromguest rooms.
All rooms have Japanese décor with tatami (woven-straw) flooring, shoji sliding doors and a seating area. Flat-screen TVs are also fitted inrooms and Japanese-style yukata robes are provided to guests. Most rooms feature a private bathroom.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful garden outside and shop for Japanese treats at the souvenir shop. The ryokan has an indoor and outdoor public bath. Spacious banquet rooms are available upon request.
Just a 10-minute drive from Hikone Station, Yasui Ryotei Ryokan offers free shuttle service from the station. Both the historic Biwa Lake and Hikone Castle are a mere 10-minute drive from the hotel.
Seasonal kaiseki Japanese course dinners are served in private dining rooms. Breakfast is also served in private rooms and lunch can be enjoyed at an additional cost.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.
You must check in by 18:00 to eat dinner at the property. Guests who check in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.
